| Fic: "Surrogate" |

For a change of pace, and for the 2 (maybe 1) people who see this, I thought I'd post my latest short fic. After reading Deathly Hallows, there were several things I felt were missing, but the one thing that I really thought should be there was some hint that George had moved on with his life. So, like any good fanfic writer, I wrote something.
Thanks to the usual suspects for their beta help.

I am edging my way into using my LJ account for more than simply leaving snide remarks on others' journals. Yee-haw, as they say.
For now, I do not plan to re-post the massive chapters of my primary work, Harry Potter and the Meaning of One, or the shorter stories I've written. If you (whoever you may be) can think of a convincing reason why I should, feel free to leave your own snide remark to that effect. In the future, I may post shorter works here, including bunnies and scenes that don't really fit as stand-alone stories on an archive site.
Instead, perhaps I will offer commentary on all and sundry. Be warned, fragile reader: if this is my Journal, it will contain my thoughts and feelings, regardless of their level of niceness. I will rant. I will rave. I will bemoan the state of the world in general if necessary. I will also gush, ponder, plot, and engage in rampant silliness. Depending on who you are (you should know that), you might be the subject of one or more of the above. Rest assured that I truly do not hold grudges for long, so my apparently-negative thoughts do not reflect long-term, deep-seated feelings. Unless I label them as such. You have been warned. |
